02 Jul. 2012: I am the recipient of an SNF “Prospective Researcher” fellowship. Thanks to the financial support of the Swiss National Science Foundation, I will join the Center for Complex Networks and Systems Research, Indiana University, in early 2013.

01 Jul. 2011: I will spend two months at the Community department of the Wikimedia Foundation, doing research on the Wikipedia community.
10 Jan. 2011: Notabilia, a visualization of the longest AfD discussions on the English Wikipedia, is now public. Notabilia is a joint project with Moritz Stefaner (design and visualization) and Dario Taraborelli (data analysis and research). Notabilia has been featured on the Dutch magazine Bright Magazine, German magazine Page, on visualization blogs Infosthetics and Flowing data, and on technology blogs such as Boing boing and many more. Go have a look at it and… after that don’t forget to wish Wikipedia happy birthday, because it’s turning 10 soon!
